Faithful Giving, Lasting Change
As we look ahead to the season of Renewal, I invite you to join me in reflecting on our relationship with God and the commitments that we are making for the year ahead. Over the last year, we’ve experienced the impact of a rapidly changing world: artificial intelligence, nations at war, the constant noise of political division. Closer to home, we struggle with the rising cost of living, the unsettling diagnosis and unanticipated personal losses. But, each year the season of Renewal gives us the blessed opportunity to pause and remember that God has been good and faithful to us and will always be.
This coming year, let me encourage you to experience renewal in your life through daily prayer, worshipping with the church family in person or online, giving generously and faithfully, serving others and sharing your faith wherever God gives you the opportunity.
As Hillside Church, we believe we are CREATED, LOVED and CALLED to love God and others just like Jesus, and we live this out through intentional worship, prayer, nurturing meaningful relationships and cultivating a culture of generosity to ensure that our ministries thrive for generations to come. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hid…in the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14,16).
As we look forward to 2026, I want to encourage you to shine the light of Jesus Christ to your neighbors through a bold witness and a generous spirit. God is doing a new thing in His church, both here and around the world. I invite you to be a part of this exciting, life changing journey.
