The Men of Hillside invite you to participate in the 6th Annual Right Side Anglers Fishing Tournament! Bring a friend and enjoy God’s creation with a relaxing morning on the water at Hickory Log in Canton. This laid-back, family-friendly tournament has no entry fee, and the angler who catches the longest fish will earn bragging rights for the year. Don’t have access to a boat? No problem. Motors aren’t allowed on the reservoir, so the Boy Scouts of America will have canoes available to borrow at no cost. If you plan to attend, please sign up and let us know you’re coming!

Nestled in the rugged Georgia mountains, the 2026 Hillside Men's Retreat dove deeply into the reality of spiritual warfare, with a focused lens on the powerful truths in 2 Corinthians 10. With Travis Jones as our teacher and spiritual guide, sessions unpacked 2 Corinthians 10:3–5—reminding us that though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, for our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God for pulling down all strongholds, casting down arguments, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. As an unexpected snow began to blanket the terrain in serene white silence, this rare winter wonderland amplified the message joining us all together deeper in fellowship, fervent prayer, unapologetic worship, raw testimonies, and brotherly support. Come Sunday the Lord only shined his light on His landscape to allow all members a safe passage home, reminding us fully that His will, not ours, it what we trust and follow. The snow-draped mountains became a living parable of renewal. The weekend left every man transformed, returning home equipped & prepared, united as warriors in Christ, ready to stand firm in the unseen fight.

Our recent men's breakfast was a remarkable success, drawing an impressive turnout of brothers in faith who filled the hall with camaraderie and shared purpose. August 2nd Celebration Hall was filled with faces both old and new while Hillside's own, Travis Jones, delivered a profoundly powerful and impactful message that stirred hearts and challenged us to deepen our commitment to living out our faith boldly and with purpose. His words sparked meaningful reflection, encouraging each of us to pursue a closer walk with Christ and understand the challenges that lay before us. The morning was a true blessing, leaving all inspired, uplifted, and eager for the next opportunity to come together in fellowship. Stay tuned for the next one!

Occasionally throughout the year, Men of Hillside will host an event that includes food.  We are always in need of cooks and helpers!

Our Annual Men of Hillside Retreat requires many hands to continuously offer an excellent experience. Team members include parking greeters, registration, sound and video and much more.

This team is diligent in making sure every man in Hillside knows about Men of Hillside. Team communicates through flyers, advertising,  newsletters, website and email.

The annual Men of Hillside Golf Tournament is a great way for men to fellowship in a friendly game of golf. Planning this takes many servants. Help with publicity, sponsorship, registration, silent auctions
